# Login methods

> Configure how people sign in to your Oculon workspace.

Login methods determine how users authenticate into Oculon and how much control the organization has over identity.

## Common login options

Organizations typically choose between direct workspace credentials, single sign-on, or other centrally managed authentication approaches.

## Choose based on governance needs

If identity is centrally managed, use the login method that keeps joiners, movers, and leavers aligned with your normal IT process.

## Communicate changes clearly

Any change to sign-in behavior affects every user. Announce the change, explain the cutover path, and provide a fallback support route.
